Restorative Practice defines a unique approach to behaviour management and relationship building. The strength of relationships within a school community determine the quality of the teaching and learning environment.
When relationships break down and harmful behaviour occurs, this can distract from the essential task of teaching and learning.
Over the last 14 years, Restorative Now have trained education staff globally with the effective skills to intervene in specific situations where behaviour is causing concern.
This style of intervention ensures learning on the part of those involved, reducing the likelihood of repeat behaviour and therefore enhancing emotional and social development.
In addition, trained staff are enabled to contribute to a school culture which authentically reflects the organisational values. In such a culture the health of relationships and the wellbeing of the school community is paramount.
